Catholic Women's League
|
The Catholic Women’s League is a group of concerned Catholic women who, from a strong spiritual base, believe in fostering the dignity of women.
The group supports the Parish Priest, assist where a need is seen and raise money for charities within the Parish area and internationally. The members enjoy a vibrant social life within their group and welcome ladies of all ages. Meetings on the 1st Thursday of the month after 9.30am Mass in the Marian Room. |

Novena to Our Lady of Perpetual Help
|
This group’s devotion centres on Our Lady of Perpetual Help and meets in the Church for prayer after the 9.30am Mass on Tuesdays. The group is open to anyone who wishes to share in the Prayer time.

Piety Stall

Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA)
|
The Parish Priest with the assistance of group coordinators, lead the RCIA programme each year, which takes you on your journey to becoming a Catholic....the culmination of this journey is at the Easter Vigil each year, when we welcome our new Catholic Brothers and Sisters into our faith community.

RCIA Team
|
A group of volunteers work together with the Parish Priest to support the welcome, catechesis and liturgical rites for candidates and catechumens during their journey towards full Initiation into the Church.

Sacramental Team
|
Parents of children who enrol to complete their Initiation begun at Baptism are invited to help on the Team which arranges the children’s preparation for the Sacraments of Reconciliation, Confirmation and First Eucharist. The Parish Priest, with help from the Sacramental Coordinators will help with the preparation of materials, parent meetings, and decision-making.

St. Francis Xavier School was established in 1975 to serve the families of the local Catholic Parish of Runaway Bay. St Vincent De Paul Society

An organised charitable group who are concerned not only with relieving needs but redressing the situations that causes it.
They assist families, the homeless, the disadvantaged and the disabled who need material help (food, clothing, and shelter), social help (isolation, violence, unemployment) and personal help (physical, mental health, grief, and loneliness). Contact the Parish Office for Meeting times. |
